Mexico has proven to be a unique trip for DriButts. Just 15 minutes across the US-Mexico border lies a town called San Luis. Geographically speaking, 15 minutes over the border doesn’t take you very far. But you will be amazed just how great the difference is this close to home. Due to how close the town is to the boarder, we will actually be flying into Phoenix and driving across the border. It’s a three hour road trip you will never forget.

We partner with the Aloe family in Mexico. They take care of all the on ground logistics and together we sew diapers and change lives. All registrations for the trip will go through their website.

What will we do?
Whether we’re in the local dump or going door to door in the rural village are of San Luis, the only thing we can promise you we’ll be doing is diaper drops. The rest is largely up to you or the trip leader. Though other activities may include things such as spending time with the boys at Oasis boys home, visiting families living in extreme poverty due to illness or disability, visiting a center for the blind, and serving at the local soup kitchen.
Where will we stay?
While in Mexico, we will be staying in the guesthouse in one of the local ministries. We will have AC, be sleeping in bunk beds (linens provided), have access to WIFI, a kitchen with refrigerator, and a bathroom with showers (towels and cloths provided). We will be eating two to three meals a day at the guest house.
How can I make a difference?
The first goal of any DriButts trip is to help you see the need. We want you to be able to approach the problems found in developing countries with understanding and with a focus on problem solving. Our second goal is for you to join in on the mission. Whether it be with our mission, with a different organization, or even starting something yourself, we want you to join in on the work of changing the world. Lastly, we want you to discover your calling. We believe each person has a unique calling from God and want to act as guides helping you discover and live out your calling in whatever way possible.
