We are a Christian Non-profit thrift store looking for a hard-working full-time employee to support the vision and mission of our store and ministry. Our non-profit DriButts helped families around the world with sanitation and diapers. Please check out our website at Dributts.com. ReThread exists to support Dribiutts.


We are looking for someone with strong retail and customer service experience to join our team and help us grow our store. We need someone who is passionate about helping others and can get behind the mission of our non-profit. Being a person of good character is a must.

Pay: $11hr-$13hr Depending on experience and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

  • Become fluent with our mission and vision

  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

  • Help us achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

  • “Go the extra mile” to drive customer service

  • Sort and clean donated items

  • Daily store cleaning

  • Able to lift at least 20 lbs and on your feet most of the day

  • Build productive trust relationships with staff

  • Comply with store procedures

  • Suggest ways to improve sales and stocking (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role

  • Dependable

  • Hard Working

  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

  • Proficiency in English, Spanish would be a plus but not required.

  • Basic Math skills

  • Track record of being a great team player

  • Familiarity with thrift or consignment stores

  • Proficient in researching products online.

  • Has a good understanding of products and pricing

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus

  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

  • Availability to work flexible shifts

  • High school degree
